Prayer

At its essence, prayer is simply talking to God.

Prayer is an integral part of our worship, our personal lives and all that we do.

Prayer is ordinary people bringing ordinary concerns to a loving and compassionate God.

Prayer is not just about talking to God but also about waiting quietly before God and listening for the ‘quiet voice’ within.

Prayer breakfast

is held every three months and includes a simple breakfast followed by prayers of concern for ourselves, our church and our community.

Prayer chain

Our prayer chain involves about a dozen people who will pray for your concerns.

Daily prayer

Lord, walk beside me as I go through this day.

When I am tempted to give up help me to keep going.
Give me a cheerful spirit and a love for those I meet.

Give me courage to do what needs to be done.

Guide me and protect me today.

Amen
